Anne Gillespie

Human Resources Director

Anne Gillespie has spent most of her career working for technology corporations, starting her career at Compaq when the computer marketer launched its European Operations; she joined as one of the company’s first employees.

At Compaq, Anne managed internal and external communications and customer programs before moving into human resources. She remained at Compaq through both its acquisition of Tandem Computers and Digital Equipment Corp. then, joined Hewlett Packard at its corporate headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif. during HP’s merger with Compaq. Her work included support for HP’s global marketing organization and a stint as HR Director for the newly formed Global Operations & IT for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, based in Switzerland.

Anne also has extensive experience living and working in Eastern Europe, including working in the Czech Republic and Romania where she led human resources for a HP startup in Bucharest.

Anne holds an MSc in Human Resource Management from Sheffield University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD).
